Neil Young's Dreamin' Man Live Album Postponed Until December

BY Jason SchreursPublished Nov 3, 2009

The next instalment in Neil Young's classic live albums series has been postponed until early December.

Originally due out this week, Dreamin' Man Live '92 is a concert version of Young's classic album, Harvest Moon, performed in its entirety but taken from several acoustic solo performances.

The release is the second instalment in Young's archives series, although Dreamin' Man is being labelled Archive Performance Series number 12, surely a hint that many more classic Young recordings are going to be unearthed in the not-so-distant future. The first archives release was volume one of Young's box set series.

The Juno Award-winning Harvest Moon is often thought of as a sort of sequel to Young's masterpiece 1972 album, Harvest, and was the basis for a 1992 acoustic tour that had the Canadian king of rock slowing down after the Ragged Glory fallout, nursing a bad case of tinnitus.

Dreamin' Man Live '92 will be available on December 8, just in time for your flannel-wearing dad's Christmas present.
