If you're a Neil Young fan and happen to live in the Vancouver area, you're going to be pumped. On September 12, the all-out Canadian legend will join Sheryl Crow and Sarah McLachlan for a performance at West Vancouver's Ambleside Park as part of the inaugural "Summer Sessions at Ambleside."

The concert presented by the City of West Vancouver and the Sarah McLachlan Foundation will be a benefit concert for McLachlan's foundation, which is dedicated to advancement of music education for Canada's youth, especially those in under-served communities.

"I am thrilled to have Neil and Sheryl join me on stage at Ambleside Park this September to help raise funds for my foundation," McLachlan says in the press release. "We hope the event will entertain and inspire, while increasing awareness of the need for music in children's lives."

The concert will be an all-day event that promises performances from eclectic array of talented Canadian artists. No other acts other than those above have been confirmed, but tickets, which are $89 and $139, go on sale Saturday (July 18) at Selectyourtickets.com or by calling 1-866-514-5050.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, Young will reportedly be doing an acoustic set.
