Published Jun 10, 2015Neil Young is about to chew up and spit out genetically modified foods on his forthcoming new album The Monsanto Years. He's already offered a venti-sized diss against Starbucks, and today he's back with a video for another song from the LP.
Those hoping for more hyper-specific brand blasts will be disappointed, but it's probably for the better. "Wolf Moon" is just a warm and gentle country song wherein Young shows his appreciation to Mother Nature. With assistance from his backing band Promise of the Real (who are Willie Nelson's sons), it's a nice enough Neil Young song that could fit into any era of his catalogue.
Enjoy "Wolf Moon" with its accompanying performance footage below. The Monsanto Years arrives on June 30 via Reprise.
