While Neil Young has taken a break from his "Fireside Sessions" quarantine special, the artist has now given us a new recording from his mid-June "Porch Episode," a faithful — and timely — cover of Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are a-Changin'."
The nearly 60-year-old song has been reimagined for Young's Neil Young Archives website, where the artist has posted the track. There, he performs the song alone, accompanied only by his guitar and harmonica.
Co-produced by Young and Niko Bolas, the cover arrives on NYA through Reprise Records. Any day now, Young is due to release his new EP The Times via the label. The record will serve as the home for his recent Donald Trump diss track "Lookin' for a Leader 2020."
