After a big whopping of anticipation, Neil Young has officially release his Peace Trail. Right now, you can stream the record across a variety of platforms and dig into it here.
After some delay — the album was originally due out on December 2 — you can steam it all below via Apple Music. As previously reported, it's presented as a "primarily acoustic" album that "reflects an intimate, sparse approach that draws the listening into the heart of the songs in a personal way."
It was recorded at Rick Rubin's Shangri-la Studios, with Young producing the album with the help of John Hanlon. It also features session players Jim Keltner (drums) and Paul Bushnell (bass) lent a hand.
Of course, the album stream comes after a serious change of heart from Young about streaming services in general.
Peace Trail is out now via Reprise Records.
