The National 'Mistaken for Strangers' (trailer)
On top of their impending Trouble Will Find Me LP, the National are getting ready for the release of a tour doc called Mistaken for Strangers. The film, which was directed by vocalist Matt Berninger's brother Tom, will premiere this Wednesday (April 17) at New York's Tribeca Film Festival, but you can check out a trailer for the flick ahead of time.

As previously reported, the film found Tom Berninger, a "heavy metal and horror movie enthusiast," heading out on the road with the band in 2010. Beyond the musical element, the film is said to be "a hilarious and touching look at two very different brothers and an entertaining story of artistic aspiration."

Down below, you'll see the wildcard, horns-raising director/roadie grill the band with questions like "how fast can you play?" and "do you carry wallets on stage with you" amongst some live footage.

As for Trouble Will Find Me, the National's next record drops May 21 through 4AD.
