New York indie rock sad-sacks the National were the musical guest on this week's Saturday Night Live, performing two songs from their 2013 Trouble Will Find Me album.
After an introduction from Girls star Lena Dunham, the band offered up an excellent rendition of "Graceless." Later in the show, they played a similar excellent "I Need My Girl," complete with some ambient guitar work courtesy of an instrument being hit into the ground.
