Nate Ruess of fun. Announces Debut Solo Album
While fun.'s guitarist Jack Antonoff goes about establishing himself as Bleachers, frontman Nate Ruess also has a solo project in the works. His debut LP under his own name is called Grand Romantic, and it's due out on June 16 through Fueled by Ramen.

This announcement follows the release of lead single "Nothing Without Love," which premiered earlier this year. A video for that track can be seen below.

The album features contributions from fun. producers Jeff Bhasker and Emile Haynie, plus Lykke Li, Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer and Wilco leader Jeff Tweedy.

The album is apparently inspired by new love, and a press release calls it "a series of ambitious songs that span sentimental standards to cinematic anthems."
