St. John's seven-piece indie outfit Hey Rosetta! are currently on tour with Vancouver-based Yukon Blonde, an interesting bill considering the bands are from opposite coasts of the country. This week, the west coasters get to show those from the east what road life is like on the left side of the Great White North, with shows scheduled in Vancouver and Victoria on back-to-back evenings. From there, the two bands move east to Alberta, appearing in Edmonton and Calgary.

Nova Scotia native Joel Plaskett won't travel terribly far for his short run of tour dates this week, embarking on a short four-night trip through Newfoundland. Stops in Stephenville, Corner Brook, Grand Falls-Windsor and Gander will all see support from fellow Nova Scotian Jenn Grant.
