In celebration of interviewing seemingly everyone under the sun, beloved Canadian music journalist Nardwuar the Human Serviette is looking back on 30 years of work a massive anniversary interview marathon.
For 20 straight hours, Nardwuar will play interviews "ranging from Jay-Z to Michael Gorbachev, from Destiny's Child to Wesley Willis to everything in between" on Vancouver's CiTR 101.9 FM. The marathon starts Thursday, September 21 at 9 p.m. UTC and ends Friday, September 22 at 5 p.m. UTC.
The anniversary celebrations keep rolling on Saturday, September 23, as Nardwuar takes the stage with the Evaporators at the Hall in Vancouver. They'll share a bill with Owl Empire, while the venue will also play host to Nardwuar's Video Vault.
Tickets for the all-ages performance cost $10 and can be found online here, and in person at Neptoon Records, Red Cat Records, and Zulu Records.
UPDATE (8/22, 3:24 p.m. EDT): Nardwuar will bring the anniversary celebrations to Toronto with a pair of dates at the Drake Underground on December 14 (all-ages) and 15 (19+). Further ticketing details can be found here.
