It's been a couple weeks since SXSW wrapped up, but the flood of interviews Nardwuar the Human Serviette conducted at the Austin event continues to roll out via a newly released chat he had with recent Exclaim! cover star Grimes.
The jubilant interview starts up with the Nard delivering birthday greetings to Grimes and, naturally, some tokens of his appreciation: a Mariah Carey double LP, some Skinny Puppy records and a copy of the Emergency Room Vol 1. compilation.
Among other things, Nardwuar grills Grimes about everything from all-access cred at the event, Vancouver's depressing cultural climate, ("It's really expensive city, and everyone has too many jobs and is really depressed," Grimes offers), the singer's love for fellow electro-pop artist Dandi Wind, and the first time she shot a rifle.
