Southern California grind crusaders Nails are switching teams for their as-yet-undetailed next LP, having announced they've signed a new record deal with Nuclear Blast.
Band leader Todd Jones delivered the move in a press statement, confirming that the group have left Southern Lord, for whom they delivered their Exclaim!-approved sophomore crusher Abandon All Life in 2013.
"After waging an oppressive blitzkrieg against the world in 2013 with Abandon All Life, Nails will join the ranks of the legendary Nuclear Blast for our next campaign of grindcore/death/punk tyranny," Jones said, adding that the band are currently "deep in a Southern California bunker" putting work into their first full-length for their new home.
Few details exist behind the upcoming set, but the self-described "hate dogs" explained that the deal was facilitated by longtime metal A&R mogul Monte Conner (Obituary, Death, Sepultura). The album is expected to arrive sometime in early 2015.
