MySpace to Stream Matador at 21 Festival

To celebrate its 21st birthday, indie rock powerhouse Matador Records has put together an exciting, over-the-top music festival to take place in Las Vegas. Called Matador at 21: The Lost Weekend, the debauched festival features an impressive lineup of guests that had many of us clamouring for plane and concert tickets. Those forced to stay at home can now take solace in the fact that MySpace Music will be live streaming many of the festival's performances.

According to a press release, MySpace will stream select sets from the Lost Weekend at this link. Strangely, anticipated performances from Sonic Youth, Superchunk, Yo La Tengo and others will not be included, but there is an impressive batch of content to be enjoyed. The sets that will be streamed and their time slots (in Pacific Standard Time) are viewable below. If you miss the live stream, the entire night will be viewable on demand the next day.

In addition to the live performances, Matador will be releasing its expansive six-disc Matador at 21 box set tomorrow (September 28). More information on that release can be found here.
