Published Dec 18, 2015Despite what has been a traumatic month for Eagles of Death Metal, the band are determined to promote positivity in the wake of the Paris attacks. They've already made an emotional and triumphant return to Paris to perform with U2 and will be playing there again on a rescheduled European tour.
As previously reported, the rock band also launched an initiative encouraging other artists to cover their Zipper Down song "I Love You All the Time." The proceeds from publishing income will be donated to the Sweet Stuff Foundation, which assists struggling musicians, engineers and their families.
A few of the first high-profile covers of the track are online now, including versions from My Morning Jacket (who previously covered it live), Florence and the Machine (with some help from the Maccabees), and Savages. A rendition courtesy of Pearl Jam is expected out later today, but you can listen to the aforementioned versions right now in the players below.
