MUTEK Ropes In Four Tet, Amon Tobin, Modeselektor for 2011 Edition

Annual Montreal-based electronic music festival MUTEK almost had to switch weekends due to the Formula 1 Grand Prix, but as previously reported, the world-class music event will still take place in the beginning of June this year in various venues across Montreal. Now, festival organizers have revealed the first 31 confirmed acts, and it's already looking like a trip to Montreal is in order for out-of-towners.

Here is the full list of Mutek acts confirmed so far:

Amon Tobin, Anstam, Babe Rainbow, Calamalka, Daega Sound System, Danuel Tate, Deadbeat & Lillevan, Deepchord presents Echospace, Electro Guzzi, Emptyset, Falty DL, Floating Points, Four Tet, Gold Panda, Horror Inc., Jacques Greene, James Holden, Knowing Looks, Luke Abbott, Michael Red, Mika Vainio, Modeselektor, Radiq, Rocketnumbernine, Sculpture, Siriusmo, Stephen Beaupre, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Traversable Wormhole, Tristan Perich, Wareika

MUTEK organizers promise that this announcement is "just the tip of the iceberg for what we expect to be one of MUTEK's most ambitious editions, filled with exciting collaborations, new faces and many surprising discoveries."


 Tickets for 12th edition of MUTEK are available now at a special early bird price of $175 for the whole five-day festival or $100 for the shows between June 3 and June 5. More information can be found here. The early bird discount will expire on April 12.
