Toronto poet and songwriter Mustafa has returned with a new single. "Air Forces" arrives today alongside a video co-directed by Kid. Studio's Glenn Michael and Christo, and you can that find below.
Following this year's "Stay Alive," "Air Forces" features samples of a Sudanese tribal chant, marking a further exploration of Mustafa's self-described "inner city folk music." In the accompanying clip, the camera captures the streets and stairwells of the artist's community, juxtaposed with shots of the intersection of his heritage and the Western world.
This past June, Mustafa shared a performance video of new song "Come Back," which features James Blake.
