Murder City Devils Gear Up for West Coast Mini-Tour, Play Vancouver

BY Josiah HughesPublished Oct 13, 2010

Last year, Seattle-based gloom rockers the Murder City Devils broke a long absence by returning to the stage for a proper tour, reissuing their albums and putting out a limited box set. Fans of the Pacific Northwest septet who missed out on that run just may be in luck, as they've announced another mini-tour.

This time around, the three-date run will include a Vancouver stop at the Commodore Ballroom on October 17. Tickets for the event will run you $23.50 before service charges and can be purchased at Red Cat or Zulu, or through Ticketmaster.

Other stops on the mini-tour include Portland's Roseland Theater on October 15 and Seattle's Showbox on October 16. If you're considering a trip south for the Seattle show, know that all proceeds from the event will go to the Lifelong AIDS Alliance.

Despite the semi-regular performances, we still haven't caught wind of a new Murder City Devils album in the works. The band's last new release was 2001's Thelema EP.
