Radio-conquering British folkies Mumford & Sons are one of the most famous bands on the planet, and they're making the most of the success by staging a series of unique two-day events this summer in North America.
These "Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers" are mini-festivals, similar to the ones Mumford & Sons staged last summer. Each event will be spread across two nights, with an evening show on Friday followed by an all-day festival on Saturday. Mumford & Sons will headline each Saturday concert.
There are five mini-festivals in all: one in the UK, three in the U.S., and one in Simcoe, ON. All of the North American shows will feature Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros on the Friday night, with the Ontario bill rounded out by Old Crow Medicine Show, the Vaccines, Hey Rosetta!, Dan Mangan, Willy Mason, Bear's Den and more for the Saturday show. Mumford & Sons said in a statement, "The Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers are all about live music. We get to put them on in towns not normally frequented by touring bands in busses or splitter vans. We deliberately look for towns that have something unique, or some vibe of which they are proud, explore them and enjoy what they have to offer."
Tickets are $109 with no service changes. Three-night camping passes begin at $40 per person and are available along with tickets right here.
