MuchMusic's 'The Wedge' Pushed Back to 2 a.m. Time Slot
Last night (September 14), fans looking to tune into MuchMusic's out-there music show The Wedge at its regular time slot were out of luck. While the show wasn't cancelled, it was pushed back to the new time of 2 a.m. EST, which it will keep from now on.

Taking to his Twitter, the always honest show host and Fucked Up frontman Damian Abraham explained the situation. "ATTN ALL VIEWERS OF @MUCHthewedge: Starting tonight, the Wedge will be on at 2am EST. It is also repeated several times throughout the week," he wrote.

Soon after, he clarified the situation, writing, "It is what it is. It came down to ratings. BUT we're also doing mini things throughout the week too now."

Fans worried the show is facing the chopping block shouldn't stress just yet, as Abraham insisted that the network has no plans to cancel the show. "@MuchMusic has told me that despite the lower ratings they're still behind the show & I do believe it. #DigOutTheVCR," he wrote.

Here's hoping the show stays on for the long haul, and the new time slot means they can take even more risks on live television.
