MS MR shot to prominence in 2013 with their debut album Secondhand Rapture, and as they ready LP number two, they have shared a new single called "Painted."
It's a climactic electro-pop anthem with brisk rhythms, MIDI-sounding pianos and brassy, swelling synth tones. It threatens to explode into a full-blown pop banger, but it ultimately avoids catharsis in favour of jittery drama and slow comedowns.
