Having premiered new tune "Made to Stray" earlier this month, progressive UK electronic duo Mount Kimbie have now detailed the full-length it will appear on. Titled Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, the group's sophomore set arrives May 28 through new label home Warp Records.
A press release for the 11-song album explains that Cold Spring Fault Less Youth has evolved the outfit beyond their 2010 debut Crooks & Lovers, "expanding from the confines of dance music" by introducing live instruments like drums and horns, as well as vocals from Brit singer King Krule into the mix. The record is also the first full-length the band have recorded outside of their bedroom and in a proper studio setting.
"Two years is a long time," the band's Dominic Maker said in a statement. "Tastes change, what you want out of your life changes, and so on. Naturally, how we want to sound has changed too."
