Moses Sumney has announced Live from Blackalachia, a new live album and accompanying film that captures a performance in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. It's arriving December 10 on Jagjaguwar

Sumney and his band recorded the album in the summer of 2020, and it features performances of songs pulled from Grae and Aromanticism.

In a statement about the release, Sumney said: "Over the course of two days, we filmed 14 songs, totally live, the trees as our audience, the grasshoppers our background singers. Live From Blackalachia is a wild imagining of what can happen when we seek not just to reclaim nature, but to reintegrate with it."
