West Coast collective Morning Show brings together members of the Archers, Tough Lovers and Good for Grapes, and the Vancouver- and Victoria-based musicians are ready to reveal their new EP Prom Theme this month. Before it arrives, though, Exclaim! has got the exclusive premiere of their new single "Underline."
The upcoming EP was tracked with Colin Stewart (Dan Mangan, New Pornographers) and aims to capture the band's "excitement, adventurism, and collective exhale that comes with a new beginning." That eagerness and rejuvenation comes across on "Underline," which is propelled by intricate rhythm patterns beneath buoyant vocals and jangly guitars.
