Fallen production hero J Dilla has had a packed year of posthumous releases, with more to come. There's a 12-inch for the track "Anthem" dropping later this month, along with a previously unheard LP called The Diary. Need more? The Fat Beats label is also releasing its own Dilla compilation.
The new release is called Lost Tapes, Reels + More and features 20 compositions from the late Dilla. According to the record label, the compilation showcases Dilla's attachment to electronic music.
"Although Dilla is best known as part of the hip-hop world," the label writes, "his connections to house music also run deep, and he worked with Moodymann, Andres, Amp Fiddler and more in his time."
