Montreal's Suoni Per Il Popolo Ropes In Keiji Haino, Outer Space, Rene Hell, Colin Stetson for 2011 Edition

Now in its 11th year, Montreal's Suoni Per Il Popolo has been celebrating the mandate of "Sounds for the People" by bringing some of the world's most exciting, challenging acts to Montreal for a burst of musical excitement. This year's fest runs from June 5 to 25, and crams a massive amount of genre-spanning talent.

Here's the list of confirmed acts at this year's Suoni Per Il Popolo festival and we suggest you take a deep breath:

But wait, there's more. As previously reported, Weird Canada's Wyrd Fest has teamed up with Suoni Per Il Popolo to offer up the first-ever Montreal addition. The Wyrd Fest/Suoni Per Il Popolo collaborative venture will include performances from Dreamcatcher, Lantern, Duzheknew, Shortpants Romance, Hobo Expanding Cult Band, Ultrathin, d'Eon, Headaches and Feral Children.
