Montreal's Omegas Bring Their 'Blast of Lunacy' on Tour, Plot 'NY Terminator' EP

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 18, 2011

Montreal's Omegas have already released one of the best hardcore albums of the year with Blasts of Lunacy. The concise rager is available now from Parts Unkown and will now guide the band across North America on a lengthy tour.

Sadly, the run of shows only includes one Canadian stop on May 27 in Toronto with School Jerks before dipping into the States for a run of shows that includes a high-profile slot at the sure-to-be-amazing Chaos in Tejas Festival in Austin, TX.

Rather than drool about the awesome shows we might be missing, however, there's a silver lining in that Omegas will release a new four-song seven-inch called NY Terminator. The record is expected by the end of June from Boston's Painkiller Records.

In the meantime, check out "F.S.O.M." from Blasts of Lunacy below, as well as the tour dates.
