Long-running Montreal electronic music fest MUTEK is making its return in a big way this year, announcing that it's linked up with digital arts and music festival Elektra to celebrate their respective 15th anniversaries. Together, they'll be bringing out artists like Darkside member Nicolas Jaar, Shackleton and Matthew Dear.

The joint production, which will be billed as EM15, takes place across Montreal from May 27 to June 1 and will feature over 100 artists pulled from Canada and around the world. While show specifics have yet to arrive in full, a press release notes that the Montréal Museum of Contemporary Art will act as "the nerve centre and main headquarters" for EM15.

As for the artists, Jaar will put the focus on his From Scratch improvisational project, while sound experimenter Matthew Dear will appear as Audion. Other acts attached to the fest so far include Archie Pelago, Dinos Chapman, Donato Dozzy, Fluxion, Heatsick, Robert Henke, Magic Mountain High, Move D, Pinch, Shackleton, and Voices From The Lake.

A six-day, all-inclusive EM15 passport is up for grabs now at an early bird price of $150 (before taxes and service charges), while a weekend pass allowing entry to events between May 30 and June 1 is selling for $80. The early bird pricing runs until March 17. You can pick up either pass over here.
