Monotonix Get off the Stage to Release Debut Full-Length

Those zany, mostly naked rockers in Israeli power punk trio Monotonix have built quite the name for themselves on the wild antics of their live show but have yet to translate that messy energy to the recorded medium. Body Language, their debut EP, wasn't quite the aural adventure fans expected. But now, with the release of their debut full-length slated for this fall, that could change.

Called Where Were You When It Happened?, the title alone builds up hype for an epic listening experience. And with songs titles like "Flesh and Blood," "Spit It on Your Face" and "Hunt You Down," it's hard not to expect some badass, messy rock'n'roll.

Due September 8 from Drag City, the album is also adorned with hilarious artwork that features the dudes in the place of pubes in an open pair of jeans (see above).

Where Were You When It Happened?:

1. "Flesh and Blood"
2. "I Can't Take It Anymore"
3. "My Needs"
4. "Something Has Dried"
5. "Set Me Free"
6. "Spit It on Your Face"
7. "As Noise"
8. "Hunt You Down"
