Monomyth Return with New EP, Prep Canadian Tour

Monomyth Return with New EP, Prep Canadian Tour
In 2012, Halifax garage-pop combo Monomyth landed on Exclaim!'s list of the year's best EPs with their excellent self-titled tape. Now, the band have followed it up with another EP as they hit the road in Canada.

The EP is called King, Does This Not Please You? (BEHOLD THE POWER), and it was posted today (May 29) on Bandcamp. The record was actually quietly released earlier this month when they played a hometown show with their pals Crosss on May 17, but the EP will be available on CD and cassette when the band hit the road in the coming weeks.

The songs were recorded live at the Echo Chamber in Halifax with Dave Ewenson. The vocals were then overdubbed at home and mixed by band members Seamus Dalton and Josh Salter.

The group intend to release videos for all four tracks. Watch three of those below. Also see the tracklist and the band's tour schedule below. Many of the shows are with Nap Eyes, a band that also features Dalton and Salter.

King, Does This Not Please You? (BEHOLD THE POWER):
