This past February marked the 25th anniversary of Moist's debut studio album Silver, and the band have now announced plans to celebrate with an anniversary tour.

While a complete itinerary has yet to be revealed, Moist will perform Silver in its entirety alongside other catalogue staples at summer festivals and select venues across Canada this year.

A press release notes that singer David Usher, guitarist Mark Makoway and keyboardist Kevin Young will reunite with bassist Jeff Pearce to tour together for the first time since 2013.

The tour announcement was revealed with details of a Vancouver stop in August. The band will play the city's Commodore Ballroom on August 22. Last month, Moist also appeared in the lineup for Festival d'été de Québec 2019.

The press release notes that Moist will reissue Silver to mark the anniversary later this year through Universal Music Canada. The package — which will arrive in remastered 2xLP and CD editions — will feature rare tracks and photos alongside personal reflections on Moist's time in the studio and on the road.

The reissue campaign won't stop there either, with the press release confirming plans to remaster and release the band's 1996 album Creature and 1999's Mercedes Five and Dime on vinyl for the first time ever this fall.

Tickets for the band's aforementioned Vancouver appearance go on sale Friday (May 10) at 10 a.m. local time through Live Nation.
