Post-rock vets Mogwai recently revealed plans to issue their Rave Tapes LP in the new year, and now the Scottish mainstays have announced a North American tour to support their eighth full-length set.
While the album arrives January 21 in North America via Sub Pop and a day earlier overseas through the band's own Rock Action, the band won't make it to our shores until April. After kicking off the trip in New Mexico, they'll make their way up north to perform Canadian shows in Montreal and Toronto and head out west to close out the tour at Vancouver's Vogue Theatre on May 25.

As previously reported, Rave Tapes was produced by Mogwai and Paul Savage, who had also worked with the group on their 1997 debut Young Team. You can check out new track "Remurdered" down below.
