Published Jun 16, 2010Following the previously reported news that Mogwai's first concert film, Burning, and accompanying album, Special Moves, would be out on August 24, the band have announced a series of special screenings of the film in venues across Canada and the U.S.
The film will play in a dozen North American venues this August and September, including a screening at Vancouver's Pacific Cinematheque and two at Toronto's Drake Underground.
Along with the theatrical screenings, there will be a virtual screening hosted by UStream on a variety of as-yet-to-be-decided music sites. It will play on July 27 at 3 p.m. EST (8 p.m. GMT). The screening will include a Q&A at the end with Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite director Vincent Moon.
