Get those earplugs ready, kids - Mogwai are coming back. Yep, the deafening Scots have announced they will embark on a North American tour this spring, visiting several U.S. cities, a few Canadian ones and bringing along their surly countrymen the Twilight Sad for much of the trek.
For a few of the tour stops, they mark Mogwai living up to their promise to reschedule shows that were cancelled last year due to drummer Martin Bulloch's ongoing heart condition, meaning both Toronto and Montreal will now get their bit of rock action too.
And if you at all think that just because Mogwai are getting up there in age they have turned down from 11, fear not: the band recently encouraged fans to sign a petition protesting new laws limiting the volume of concerts in the UK. So yeah, get ready to hear that ring for days.
