Mocky featuring GZA

"Birds of a Feather"

From King Khan and Fucked Up to Devendra Banhart and Black Lips, OG Wu-Tang rapper the GZA has been all over the indie rock world as of late. So it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that the MC recorded a guest verse for funky Berlin-via-Saskatchewan producer Mocky.

"Birds of a Feather," is a shuffling, summery jam that includes the best whistle chorus this side of Peter Bjorn & John. It's an ideal environment for GZA to flex his verbal skills, letting the song's theme manifest itself in the form of smooth-talked bird raps.

Like most of his other recent collaborations, it's unclear how this single will be released. What's even less clear is who the GZA will collaborate with next.
