Mobroder

"Rush"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 2, 2011

It literally feels like an eternity since we heard from sexually charged Baltimore hip-hoppers Spank Rock. Their album, YoYoYoYoYo came out way back in 2006. So what have these dudes been doing since then? In the case of vocalist Naeem Juwon, he's been kicking it in the Italo-disco-inspired Mobroder (check that sly nod to genre god Giorgio Moroder, everybody).

The side-project has unveiled itself via the new single "Rush," a glossy dance number full of '80s cop-show-issued synths and full-on sex grooves that likely still get Donna Summer all hot and bothered. Check out the video below.

Surprisingly, there are already a number of remixes for the track as interpreted by Turbotito and Hardy Boyz, among others. Check out them out in the player below.

You can also get a download of the tunes for the price of an email at Mobroder's website here.
