Mobb Deep Raise Funds for Upcoming Album via PledgeMusic, Share New Song
Mobb Deep have been talking about their new album for about three years, and now it's is finally almost here. While the exact release date is still unknown, the rap duo are staging a PledgeMusic campaign for the double-disc set and they have shared a new song.

As previously reported, the package includes an all-new studio album, plus outtakes from the sessions for 1995's seminal record The Infamous (featuring guests like Raekwon, Nas, and N.O.R.E.). The album is similarly titled The Infamous Mobb Deep.

A digital version of the new collection costs $15 to pre-order, while a double-CD costs $27. Upwards from there, fans can order it along with a host of goodies including signed merch, double vinyl, access to listening parties, a hang-out session with the band in the studio, drinks with band member Prodigy, and — for a whopping $30,000 — the duo rapping on your track.

Check out the campaign here. The album is expected in March, and those who pre-order will get it before the general public.

Mobb Deep are touring this spring, although all of the shows are in the U.S. with none currently booked in Canada. See the schedule here.

Prodigy will also release his solo album The Most Infamous in February. Pre-loaded audio players are available for pre-order.
