Moa Bones

"Hey" (video)

Hailing from Athens, Greece, Dimitris Aronis has made his way around the music biz, singing and playing guitar in Modrec, and serving as half of the collaborative duo Palindrom with Evangelia Ksinopoulou. Now, he's kicking it solo under the moniker Moa Bones, and Exclaim! has got the premiere of his latest video for "Hey."

The track appears on the singer-songwriter's recently released sophomore record Spun and offers up a sonic sampling of his unique brand of lo-fi indie folk. It blends instrumentation that's tinged with a traditional bluegrass feel with more modern, slightly distorted vocals — a combination that is sure to get your toes tapping along.

As for the accompanying visuals, we see Aronis in a variety of settings — from the home to the bar to the pool — though, wherever it is he goes, he manages to find a good-looking female companion. The clip also stars Greek musicians Stelios Provis (of Planet of Zeus) and Giorgos Anagnostopoulos (of Whereswilder). Watch them travel the town with their lady friends in the player below.

Spun is available now through Inner Ear Records.
