L.A. synth pop artist MNDR recently teamed up with Sweet Valley for an EP, and now she's nabbed another prominent collaborator: rapper Killer Mike, who whom she recorded a track for Gangrene's new Grand Theft Auto V compilation Welcome to Los Santos. The album isn't due out until April 21, but "Lock & Load" can be heard now.
The song begins as a woozy, dreamily dramatic electro-pop number sung by MNDR. It takes a turn for the sinister halfway through, however, as the Run the Jewels rapper takes over the mic for a violent verse in which firearm references abound. Eventually, MNDR returns to deliver the song's finale.
