Published Oct 29, 2014Each year, Mint Records celebrates the holiday season a little ahead of time with its Ridiculously Early Xmas Party. Of course, 2014 will be no exception, and the Vancouver label just announced the details of its impending seasonal celebration.
The gig will take place at the Electric Owl on November 29. The bill consists of Mint acts and associates: Jay Arner (who will be performing under both his solo guise and with his odd-pop duo Energy Slime), Supermoon, Renny Wilson, Fake Tears, Duotang and Hag Face are all set to perform. Between acts, CiTR DJ Duncan McHugh will be spinning tunes. More acts will apparently be announced.
As a special bonus, the first 50 people through the door will get gifts, and a press release says that these "may or may not include fancy tote bags, new music and gift certificates from Zulu and Red Cat Records." And as usual for Mint parties, the Pocky will flow freely.
Check out the show poster above and see if you can spot some of the performers at the show in the image.
Tickets cost $13 and can be purchased through Ticketweb, Red Cat or Zulu. Generously, Mint will be matching the door cash with a donation to SAINTS Animal Rescue.
