Last year, Vancouver's Mint Records held their Ridiculously Early Xmas Parties on December 5 and 6. This year, they've outdone themselves by getting the party started even earlier: December 4.
And even though the party is only one night this year, as opposed to last year's two, it looks as if Mint is going to pack a lot of good times in the Biltmore Cabaret, where the CiTR-sponsored night is going down in Vancouver.
Apart from a stellar line-up that includes the Pack A.D., Carolyn Mark, Vancougar, Hot Panda and others (full line-up below), there will be DJing by CiTR's Duncan, lots of Pocky to go around and gifts for the first 75 people through the door (which opens at 8 p.m.; first band at 8:30 p.m.).
And all this good, clean fun also supports a good cause, Girls Rock Camp Vancouver, who help, via music, build self-esteem in young females. Tickets are available at Zulu, Scratch and Red Cat.
