Apparently, Radiohead really did some damage to the ego of young Miley Cyrus at the Grammys last month when they refused to hang out with her. In a recent interview with syndicated American radio show Johnjay and Rich, the Hannah Montana starlet laid out a whole sob story about how, despite her biggest efforts, she couldn't meet with the band backstage.
Cyrus revealed that Radiohead are her favourite band and the reason she loves music. "They're like, my rock god," she whined. "I am obsessed with them. This is the only person I would probably cry over. I would cry." If she were in their shoes, however, she claims she would have been much more accommodating. "If someone, like, said that, like, 'I would cry if I met them. I really want to meet them,' I would freaking, like, run and, like, give them the biggest hug in the world because that's cool, you know? But they were like, 'We don't really do that.'"
Cyrus is so pissed off that she dropped some super G-rated insults on the band, saying, "I left 'cause I was so upset. I wasn't going to watch. Stinkin' Radiohead! I'm gonna ruin them, I'm going to tell everyone." In other words, it's time to pick sides between Radiohead and Miley Cyrus. Tough call, right?
