Mike Paradinas Resurrects µ-ziq for New EP

BY Josiah HughesPublished Apr 4, 2013

It's been over half a decade since we heard from Mike Paradinas' µ-ziq moniker on the album Duntisbourne Abbots Soulmate Devastation Technique. He hasn't been slacking off, however, as his Planet Mu imprint has maintained a high standard for top-notch experimental electronic music. Now, however, he'll return to his first love with a new release.

The new µ-ziq 12-inch is called XTEP and will feature five new tracks from the producer. According to a press release, we can expect a release that's "joyous all the way through," as the songs "abandon the furrow-browed quest for cutting-edge exploration exchanging it for an altogether more carefree fun approach."

Planet Mu will release XTEP on May 20. Tracks from the release can be sampled here.

XTEP:

1. XT
2. Ritm
3. Pulsar
4. Monj2
5. New Bimple
