Mike Edel released his latest effort India, Seattle last year, and now the Victoria-based singer-songwriter is ready to take the recent material back out on the road. And just before he embarks on his latest string of live shows, Edel is giving Exclaim! the exclusive premiere of a brand new video.
"Thought About July" is a particularly emotional cut off the aforementioned album, conveying themes of loneliness and separation by conjuring images of a faraway, isolated island. That track has now been given the visual treatment, matching it with prettily lit shots of Edel amidst local landscapes that contrast with picturesque footage of a loved one and landmarks on the other side of the world.
