Mikal Cronin Announces North American Tour Behind 'MCII,' Plays Toronto, Montreal
Mikal Cronin is gearing up for the release of his Merge Records debut MCII, and has now fleshed out the first promotional trip after the album's May 7 due date.

As previously reported, while Cronin is booked to play SXSW next month, the solo artist and Ty Segall collaborator sets off on his proper promotional run in May, kicking things off in San Diego. Whilst in the road, he'll hit up Toronto during NXNE and makes his way to Montreal's La Divan Orange on June 16. You can check the rest of the tour schedule down below.

As previously reported, MCII follows his self-titled 2011 debut and was mostly recorded at San Francisco's Bauer Mansion with Eric Bauer (Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees) — Cronin recorded LP track "Don't Let Me Go" at home. While Cronin performed almost the entirety LP on his own, it does features a couple of guitar solos from Segall. You can sample the La's-influenced jangle-pop cut "Shout it Out" beneath the show info.
