Being that Migos and Young Thug are working non-stop on the mixtape circuit, it seems fitting that this collection of ATL artists would join forces for a joint release. Over the weekend, they started plugging a forthcoming collaborative effort by the portmanteau-employing title of Migo Thuggin.
Not much is known about the release so far, but Migos' Quavo pumped up the upcoming freelease with a quick video on Instagram, in which he confirmed the title and that the release will be a boon "if you're a real true Migos/Thugger fan."
Young Thug likewise went online to tease the release, with a since-deleted post teasing a track that found the rapper delivering the Migos-celebrating line "I feel like breaking Offset out the pin."
The last few years have seen both the three-piece Migos and the wildly-AutoTuned Young Thug offer up a series of mixtape releases and loose singles. Most recently, Thugger offered up his Slime Season. Migos just dropped their Back to the Bando, while their summertime studio debut Yung Rich Nation found the act joined by Thugger on "Cocaina."
Previously, Migos and Young Thug had partnered up on tracks like "New Atlanta."
