Migos

"Mountain" / "Emmitt Smith"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Nov 18, 2013

Migos lay out their climb to the top, literally, on the inspirational new, Zaytoven-produced single "Mountain."

The production here is a little less hard-edged than previous cuts like "Versace" and "Hanna Montana," instead running with sugary-sweet synth melodies and an Auto-Tuned hook about making their way up to the top of a mountain without the assistance of ropes or taxis. Strange but admirable, you can hear the Atlanta trio's latest triplet-spitting single down below.

As previously reported, Migos are prepping their YRN 2 mixtape for a December 10 release. You can also hear the more standardized Migos template on the tape's football-referencing "Emmitt Smith" at the bottom of the page courtesy of the Fader.
