Mick Fleetwood Recreates Viral "Dreams" TikTok

The vibes continue

Last month, an Idaho man named Nathan Apodaca gifted the world with an extremely chill video in which he is seen skating around with a jug of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry and lip-syncing to Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams." The viral moment was both a vibe and responsible for helping the 1977 song hit the charts again 43 years after its release. Last week, the band announced their approval of the video, and now, Mick Fleetwood has taken the meme a step further by recreating it on his own account.

"@420doggface208 had it right," Fleetwood captioned his new video. "'Dreams' and Cranberry just hits different."

It appears the musician joined TikTok just to post his response to Apodaca — a great honour indeed — as it's the only post on the verified account so far. The video already sits at 3.3 million views on the platform, and since posting yesterday (October 4), the Rumours song has jumped from the 29th to the 28th spot on the Rolling Stone Top 100.

Last week, Rolling Stone reported that the song's sales had tripled since Apodaca's video went viral. Let's see how long it takes for that number to increase after Fleetwood's response.

So far, no word on how sales of Cran-Raspberry have been affected.
