Micachu & the Shapes

"Sea Air" (video)

Following up the unveiling of "Sad," Micachu & the Shapes seem to have cheered up a bit thanks to a healthy dose of the great outdoors on the new track "Sea Air."

The track appears on the experimental UK group's upcoming Good Sad Happy Bad, and while the accompanying visuals don't feature any seaside scenery, the James and Mark Hankins-directed clip is still a mesmerizing watch. It features a drummer against a blue backdrop, wailing on his kit in slow-motion.

As he wiggles and waves his drumsticks around, the percussionist never breaks his gaze into the camera. It's an oddly amusing clip that clocks in at just under two minutes, and you can give it a watch at the bottom of the page.

Good Sad Happy Bad is due out on September 11 via Rough Trade, and you can see the band's upcoming North American shows listed below.
