Last month, M.I.A.'s frustration with Interscope over a lack of release date for her new album Matangi bubbled over to the point where she threatened to leak the album online. They handed her a November 5 release date, and now we get another taste of the record.
"Come Walk With Me" is a nice snapshot of everything M.I.A.'s capable of, opening with a sunny pop song before switching it up with a bouncy drum beat. There are all sorts of instruments sampled on here, and we're pretty sure we can hear a sample of an iMac's volume being adjusted at one point.
