METZ Perform "Wet Blanket" (BOFF)

Toronto-based noise punks METZ were slotted to play the Theatre of Human Health on Bloor Street earlier this fall, opening for the Cancer Bats as a part of the Bloor Ossington Folk Festival. Upon entering the theatre, attendees were hit with a wall of humidity and noise--the heat coming from over a hundred bodies packed into the windowless space in true punk fashion, and the noise coming courtesy of METZ.

Exclaim! TV braved the energy of the front lines of the show to capture METZ's performance of "Wet Blanket," from their demo of the same name, which was self-released back in June. The performance, extending into a six-minute jam thanks to a deafening three-minute coda, can be viewed below in all of its head-banging glory. Check it out for yourself.
